Create a great first impression with our attractive and well-designed block paving for driveways. We have a large choice of driveway blocks that can fit your needs through an array of styles, colours, and finishes. Block paving is a very durable choice for driveways and is expected to last reliably for at least 20 years. It is a great material for a driveway or patio as it is incredibly hard-wearing and can easily cope with lots of motor and pedestrian traffic wear. Paving blocks are shaped similar to bricks and so are commonly known as block paving. Block paving is smaller and thicker than slabs and can also work well as decorative edging around patios. You can buy our paving blocks in packs or singles, depending on how you want your driveway or patio to be presented.

Alternatively, we have aggregates, sand, and cement products, including Tarmac as a substitute style for driveway projects.

Driveway kerbs can be used to aid raised edging that extends above your driveway which helps to create a visual border and a better barrier between your landscaping and driveway area. To achieve a best fitted driveway kerb with block paving, you should start by excavating the area by digging a trench that is deep enough to allow your edging block as well as 75mm of cement beneath the edging block. Next, you will need to secure the edging block with sharp sand and cement. Following this, it is best practice to map out a line of your edging before laying cement along this line, before adding your blocks. Using a paving mallet or hammer, secure the right height of your paving blocks for your driveway, patio, or paving project. FAQs

How many blocks are in a pack of paving?

A pack of standard 200mm long x 100 wide x 50mm or 60mm depth blocks typically contains 396 blocks. In this size, you need 50 blocks per m2, so a standard pack contains almost 8m2 of block paving. However, to account for cutting the blocks or edges, assume 7m2 per pack.
